Proficient Teacher (*NESA)

I feel proud and honoured to have taught at the same preschool for 40 years, both as teacher and Director. Over my time at Norwood I have met and worked with many amazing children, families and colleagues. Working for a parent involved, Not-for-Profit community preschool is the best. There have been many changes in the early childhood sector over the years which include the Early Years Framework, but these have been embraced and have shaped my personal teaching philosophy. Outside of preschool I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, surfing, skiing and relaxing.

Mrs Linda Percival

Cert III CS

Hi I’m Linda. A married mum to 3 adult daughters, I have been employed in early childhood education for my whole working life. I have been part of the Norwood family since 2007 and love being involved in the community it creates. I try to help create a calm, safe space in which the children can grow and flourish socially, emotionally and cognitively. I believe nurturing relationships with the children and their families helps me to provide the best care and education for each individual child. My time away from work, and to be honest at work too, always involves music (making it and listening to it). I love walking, reading, spending time at church and with my family.
